Lisa Lawrence Advertising Manager
Lisa has responsibilities to develop advertising within
the newsletter, e-bulletin & the website. She may well have already
contacted you with great deals to help promote your profile within our
publications. Lisa has lots of experience in advertising sales having worked for
the Hertfordshire Business Independent newspaper for a number of years which is
how we got to know each other and I have always been impressed with her
enthusiasm and dedication. Lisa will be working primarily in the office here on
a part time basis and can be reached at lisa@environmental-population.com.
Sue Harding : Admin Assistant Secretarial Support & West & North Herts Events Coordinator
Sue and I met very recently at a local
Women in Business
networking meeting. Sue has recently
started in business and has a wealth of experience to offer. Sue will be working
both in the office and at her own premises on a part time basis, with
responsibilities to support a range of functions including the North & West

Sue Took I have know all my life. well, Sue is
my sister! Sue
has worked previously as a Carer in
local government establishments most recently at a Residential Home in Langley,
Berkshire. When Sue's contract recently came to an end I snapped up the
opportunity to have someone on board to represent EP within Berkshire. For EP,
Sue is our West London and Berks Events Coordinator looking after and developing
the networking & membership opportunities within these areas. Sue can be

LADIES
GROUP FIGHTS THE CREDIT CRUNCH!
A
group of professional business women came together today at Doughty’s new
Brassiere in
Fairfield
Park, Stotfold to develop an action plan of how they
can fight the credit crunch. The ladies who are all members of the Hitchin Women
in Business Networking group represent organisations including Health &
Fitness, House Maintenance, Retail, Business Coaching and Environment. The
conclusion of the meeting provided a clear action plan covering the next few
months.

“We have so much expertise within this group it just seemed to make sense to
work together. Action plans includ
ing developing a Sales Funnel, Sale Closing
Techniques and Strategic Alliances were discussed”.
The
Women in Business Networking group has been meeting at the Sun Hotel in Hitchin
for approx 2 years now and has grown from strength to strength. “Not only do we
gain sales and building our professional networks through our membership of
WIBN, we have a great supportive structure of like minded business professionals
too” says Faith Houbert of Oasis Health &
Beauty.
