About the Founder - Sally Taylor

Sally started Environmental Population after a series of successful projects supporting customers through her design & marketing business 2dee Ltd.

Environmental awareness has grown since starting to support businesses from developing a range of environmental cleaning products back in the early 1980's which was sold to Lakeland Plastics and featured within their sales catalogue for a few seasons. I was responsible for developing the paper purchasing policy when working as a Buyer for 3M in Bracknell and then moved location into Hertfordshire and worked within GlaxoWellcome supporting the facilities team and Health & Safety department in promoting environmental best practice throughout the R&D operation and more recently supporting GSK at its head office in Brentford.

I launched Environmental Population in 2007 as there seemed to be little information for SME's and what was available was not necessarily easy to find so EP was born as an environmental information web portal and has since grown to become a population of business professionals with a desire to ensure their businesses are best placed to fight the modern challenges of CO2 reduction, waste minimisation and energy conservation.

EP is growing! I am delighted to welcome on board three new inspiring individuals...

Lisa Lawrence Advertising Manager

Lisa has responsibility to develop advertising within the newsletter, e-bulletin & the website. She may well have already contacted you with great deals to help promote your profile within our publications. Lisa has lots of experience in advertising sales having worked for the Hertfordshire Business Independent newspaper for a number of years which is how we got to know each other and I have always been impressed with her enthusiasm and dedication. Lisa will be working primarily in the office here on a part time basis and can be reached at lisa@environmental-population.com.

Sue Harding : Admin Assistant Secretarial Support & West & North Herts Events Coordinator

Sue and I met very recently at a local Women in Business networking meeting. Sue has recently started in business and has a wealth of experience to offer. Sue will be working both in the office and at her own premises on a part time basis, with responsibilities to support a range of functions including the North & West Herts networking. Sue can be reached at sue.harding@environmental-population.com.

Sue Took : West London & Berks Events Coordinator

Sue Took is Sally's sister! Sue has worked previously as a Carer in local government establishments most recently at a Residential Home in Langley, Berkshire. When Sue's contract recently came to an end I snapped up the opportunity to have someone on board to represent EP within Berkshire. For EP, Sue is our West London and Berks Events Coordinator looking after and developing the networking & membership opportunities within these areas. Sue can be contacted on sue.took@environmental-population.com
