The Green Apple Awards

WHAT ARE THE GREEN APPLE AWARDS?
The Green Apple Awards were established in 1994 as an annual campaign to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world.

The Hertfordshire Green Apple Awards were presented by David Lloyd of Hertfordshire County Council at the recent More Green : Better Business Conference on March 26th to:

Gold: Ryde School for integration of environmental projects within the school ethos.

Silver: Groundwork Hertfordshire for their mind, body and soil project.

Bronze: Peach Alternative Energy for their solar power installation.

Congratulations to everyone who took part!
